Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Who we are
Watchsense is a trading name of Springbar Labs Ltd, company number 17119721, registered in the United Kingdom.
Registered office: Suite RA01, 195–197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, United Kingdom.
Throughout these terms, “Watchsense”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Springbar Labs Ltd.
2. What we offer
Watchsense provides an informational registry and lookup service: you may report stolen or lost watches and check serial numbers against our database. We do not sell, authenticate, or guarantee any watches. The service is provided "as is" for your own use and at your own risk.
3. No guarantees
We do not guarantee any outcomes. In particular:
- Recovery. We do not guarantee recovery of any watch, or that a report will lead to any result.
- Database. We do not guarantee that our database is complete, accurate, or up to date. A "clear" check does not mean a watch is legitimate.
- Availability and security. We do not guarantee availability, security, or fitness for any particular purpose.
4. Your use and risk
You use the service entirely at your own risk. Any decisions you make, including whether to buy, sell, notify third parties, or undertake other action, are solely your responsibility and at your own discretion. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from your use of the service or reliance on any information it provides.
5. Data and accuracy
Data in our registry is submitted by users. We do not verify it and give no guarantee as to its accuracy, completeness, or legality. You must not rely on our data as the sole basis for any important decision. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or misuse of the service by others.
6. Acceptable use
This service is intended for adults only. By using the service, you confirm that you are of legal adult age in your jurisdiction. You must use the service lawfully and not to harass, defraud, or mislead others. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we believe these terms or the law have been breached.
7. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Watchsense and its associated entities exclude all warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, any direct or indirect financial loss, or for any loss of data, profit, or opportunity, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if the service is free).
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Where you have registered an account, we will notify you of material changes by email before they take effect. We recommend reviewing this page periodically regardless. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the updated terms, you should stop using the service.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory statutory rights you may have under applicable law.
10. Contact method
For questions about these terms, please use our contact page and write to us using the form or alternative email address.
11. Accessibility
We care about making Watchsense accessible and continually work to improve the experience for users with special requirements. As a private company we are not subject to the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations, but we take our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 seriously nonetheless.
If you have difficulty using any part of this service due to an accessibility barrier, please use our contact page and write to us using the form or alternative email address; we will do our best to help.
